Who are we?

The St. Ives Festival of Motorcycles was set up by the Hunts Bikers motorcycle riders club to share their passion for motorcycles and as a way for the local community to celebrate everything bikes.

The event has grown year on year and has become a success in a short amount of time with thousands of people in attendance from the local community and further afield in the last couple of years.

As the years have gone by, more and more enthusiastic volunteers have joined the committee to keep the festival going and build on the great work that has been accomplished.

The event has had great support over the years from the biking community and industry ensuing that each year is better than the last.

While the aim is for everyone who has a passion for biking (and those who may not) to have a great day, the festival is a non-profit event, with all proceeds donated to our chosen charities. The festival has raised an incredible amount of money which has been shared between MAGPAS Air Ambulance and the Royal British Legion.

But it’s not in St. Ives

The festival was originally held in the St. Ives town centre, however due to restrictions it was no longer a possibility to hold it there. In 2018, Johnson’s of Old Hurst came to the rescue and the festival took a short trip down the road to what is now our permanent location.

The new venue allows for a real festival atmosphere as it’s all in one location and also gives the opportunity for the festival to grow. Not only that but you might even spot the odd farm animal and even a few more exotic animals during your time at the festival.
